La Isleta de Gaia, located near Monterrico in the small town of Las Lisas, is a nicely laid-out, quiet beach hotel. While the 12 bungalows are pricey at US$70 each per night, there is a variety of beach activities to indulge in, with kayaks and body boards available. There is a small restaurant (also overpriced, according to recent visitors) that serves a limited range of food. Quadruple rooms are also available for US$129-149/night. Credit cards are accepted.
